Organic Whole Grain Rye Flour (Stone Ground)


Rye flour is excellent for all bread including naturally leavened bread (sourdough) and breads using commercial yeast. Great for rolls too. Choose the sprouted option for even more digestibility and optimal nutrient absorption. A bit more dense than hard red wheat. Many Bakers combine this with other wheat but is delicious used alone. This wheat is a powerhouse full of nutrition.

Our Rye berries are freshly stone ground (milled) the day we ship. We source our wheat berries locally in Utah. Organic, and very clean wheat berries. Rye flour is exceptional with sourdough starter even if just a portion is used to feed your starter. Rye flour bring it to life.

We ship our flour in freezer bags. Store freshly ground flour in the freezer for longer shelf life.
